Who I Am

I’m a PhD student at Duke University, interested in contemporary novels and the legacies of modernism found therein.

I’ll be using this page over the next year to share my thoughts as I work through my comprehensive exams, and getting in internet fights. There’ll be discussions of how to understand the world as a world, how literature circulates and influences itself, and what novels are and how they work. Also things like Game of Thrones, the internet, and the disaster that is contemporary politics.
